HI, I’m Molly Burns, Art Teacher at Garfield and Roosevelt schools since 2023. This is my 14^th year teaching Art and I absolutely love it.

In the Art room, we explore many different ways of creating art. I teach my students about drawing, painting, sculpting and art history. I hope to help students develop their creativity, critical thinking and aesthetic appreciation in my classes.

I love ART shows, ART field trips, murals and afterschool ART clubs. I also love running, gardening, my family and my art students. I have an art room at my home where I like to paint and draw. I really  love reworking old wooden furniture into funky colorful pieces of art.

I also LOVE recycling so please bring me your cleaned tins, cups and cereal boxes and we will make use of them in the art room.
